Judy George

Judy George, 72, of Michigan passed away on April 17, 2016 in Michigan. She was born on November 24, 1943 in Circleville to Gerald and Hazel (Hamilton) Woodward. She was a 1961 graduate of Circleville High School. In previous years she worked as an accountant at Pickaway Metropolitan Housing Authority and Chillicothe Metropolitan Housing Authority. Judy had attended Community United Methodist Church, Emmanuel United Methodist Church, was a member of La Sertoma and was a past 4th of July Queen. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald “Woody” and a son Gary “G.R.” George. Judy is survived by her mother; Hazel Woodward, her loving husband of 53 years; Gary George, her mother-in-law; Ruth George Musselman, sister-in-law; Cheree (Mel) Richards, daughter; Lisa (Rob) Slayton, grandchildren; Kirsten, Britnee Slayton, Nathan and Katelyn George and by sister; Elaine Cook. Funeral services will be held at the Wellman Funeral Home on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Forest Cemetery.
