Karen Hunter

Biography Karen F. Hunter, 70, of Laurelville, died December 28, 2009 at her residence. She was born November 11, 1939 in Missouri, the daughter of Orrville and Elma (Hoover) Wood. She was a member of the Laurelville Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Howard Hunter. She is survived by her children, Rose (Terry) Hart and Howard L. (Renee) Hunter, Jr. both of Laurelville and Jeanette (Ron Shook) Hunter of Lancaster; 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; siblings, Bonnie Ricketts and Vincile Mullins of Gibisonville, Maxine Bauman of GA, Narcie Stahr, Valerie Duntz and Wayne Wood of Laurelville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday December 31, 2009 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville. Burial will be in Gibisonville Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home
