Katherine Adams

Katherine “Kitty” Adams, 77 of Circleville, passed from this life to her eternal home in Heaven on March 16, 2012. She was born in Greenup, Kentucky, on January 15, 1935 to Harlan & Rosie (Fetters) Bowling. Kitty was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband, James Gordon King and 2nd husband, Russell Adams. Also waiting on her in Heaven with open arms were her siblings, Holline, Mabel, Thelma, Bill, Junior, Eddie, Bernice, Delbert, Robert, Wanda, Dennis, Leonard, Wayne, Earl, Lona, Lily Mae, Virginia and Edna. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Dan) Phillips, Karena (Mark) Phillips, Leanna (Bob) Swank, Ginger (Ray) Lyons, Belinda Adams and Colleen (Danny) Rittinger and son, Bruce Adams. She is also survived by her siblings, Carolyn Deanda, Hope Bowling and Ron Bowling. Kitty leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and many grandchildren and great grandchildren who were the light of her life. She loved being around her family and her sweet smile would light up the room. She loved to travel and she loved to sing. She was at her happiest when she was gardening, canning and fixing large meals for her family to enjoy. She was a member for many years of the Circleville First Baptist Church and enjoyed fellowship with her many friends in Christ. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday March 22, 2012 at the Circleville First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery.
