Katherine Harris

Katherine Gertrude Harris, 94, of Circleville, died February 8, 2007 at Logan Elm Health Care. She was born June 15, 1912 in Champaign County, the daughter of Edward and Ida (Jester) Lee. She was a member of Amvets. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward Harris; daughter, Phyllis Pickett; son, Edward Harris; 5 grandchildren and 2 sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Marvetta Donaldson of Ashville, Shirley Payne, Doris Johnson and Sandra Davis all of Circleville and Peggy Downs of Laurelville; sons, Leroy, Robert and Kenneth Harris all of Circleville; 37 grandchildren; 80 great grandchildren; 19 great great grandchildren; brothers, Wilson Lee of Columbus, Raymond Lee of Urbana and Eugene Lee of FL and sisters, Hazel Rigdom of Circleville and Emily Lee of FL. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday February 12, 2007 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Pleasant Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Logan Elm Health Care Center.
