Keith Moore

 Keith Edward Moore, age 72, of Ashville, Oh., passed away on January 20, 2025. Keith was born August 20, 1952, in Cincinnati, OH. He was preceded in death by his Father, Edward S. (Ted) & Mother Marilou (Ditmer) Moore. Keith is survived by his loving wife of 40 years. Linda (Myers) Moore; very special nephew/(son) Mike Crane; son James (Alyson); daughter Alana; son Curtis; grandson Edwin; sister Denise (Barbara); sisters-in-law Karen(Sanner) & Kathy(Dean); Aunt Ely, along with many nieces, nephews & cousins; best friend Ken Bowman & longtime friend Maria Hutchison. Keith graduated from Colerain High School in 1971, after which he pursued a career as a diesel mechanic, earning a Certificat at The University of Cincinnati. He moved to Columbus, 

had various jobs, meeting his wife at Hi-State Beverage, where Linda was one of his bosses & continued that role after marriage proudly. LOL!! His favorite job was at Contract Sweepers, where he was able to expand his creativity, refurbishing expired sweepers from ground up. After settling in Ashville, he built boat docks & later drove yard mules, which triggered his interest in driving over the road. His CB handle was “Overdrive”. Keith had many interests from Little League Knothole, fishing, hunting, bowling, motor-cycles & NASCAR, he was a handy man & didn't care to get his hands dirty and greasy. He was a fan of the Cincinnati Bear Cats and would be proud of the National Champions “The Ohio State Buckeyes”. He loved sitting at his “Garden of Eden”, enjoying the peace & quiet & mother nature. His greatest love was spending time with his family & friends. Keith found a great interest in children with disabilities, through his son Curtis. He loved watching them compete at Special Olympic Events. During his retired years he helped coach Curtis' softball team, The Pickaway County Hawks.
