Kenneth Palmer

Kenneth Roy Palmer, 62, of Circleville, passed away August 24, 2011 at his residence surrounded by family and friends after a valiant battle with esophageal cancer. He was born March 10, 1949 in Pickaway County, the son of Roy and Doris (Moats) Palmer. He was a 1967 graduate of Logan Elm High School; a U.S. Army veteran; member of Amvets Post 2256; coached Pickaway Little League; 4-H advisor and enjoyed horseback riding, boating, line dancing, fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his father, Roy Palmer; wife, Margaret “Margie” (White) Palmer; children, Jim (Lori) Palmer of Chillicothe, Krissy (Mike) Trainer of Jackson, Audrey (Steven) Haddox and Jayson (Chastity) Walisa of Circleville; 8 grandchildren, Devin Haddox, Darrian (Wendell) Crosby, Jenna Morris, Oceana and Jagger Walisa, Chenoa, Will and Donovan Palmer; sister, Ginger (Jerry) Steele; brothers, Ronald (Vicki) and David (Ginger) Palmer; brother and sister-in-laws, Paul, Helen, John (Teresa) White best friends, Donna (Mike) Patrick; many nieces and nephews and special friends, Fawn and Frank Hughey. Special thank you to Rose Lint from Constance Care; Father Ian; R.N’s., Maria, Carrie and Allison; aide, Kelly of Berger Hospice. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday August 29, 2011 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Hitler-Ludwig Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Berger Hospice or Constance Care.
