Larry Giffin

Larry J. Giffin, 68, of Circleville, died Feb. 15, 2011 in Circleville. He was born March 25, 1942 in Circleville, the son of Marion and Frances (Kuhn) Giffin. Larry was retired from Arrow Plastics, a member of Resurrection Baptist Church and loved hunting, fishing, Ohio State football, Cincinnati Reds, dirt track car racing and Nascar. He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 45 years, Marcella (Conkel) Giffin; niece, Brenda Keene; father and mother-in-law, Gerald and Geraldine Conkel and great nephew, Gerald R Jenkins. Larry is survived by his children, Mary Ellen (Mike) Wilson, Cathy Young (Kevin) and Mark (Bobbi Jo) Giffin; grandchildren, Joni (Bobby) Lowry, Christy Lowry, Colin Walsh, Heath (Audrey) Young, Paulica Haddox, Mark Giffin Jr. and Ritchie Giffin; great grandchildren, Zachary and Vin Haddox, Sha’lynn Adams, Almira Young and Kenny Roseberry; special cousin, Butch Burris; siblings, Phyllis Dumm, Ronnie (Bonnie) Giffin, Donald (Judy) Giffin, Raymond Giffin, Kay Davis, Anna Giffin, Linda Colburn, Barb McGowan, Norman (Sam) Giffin and Stella (Don) Colburn and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Pastor Jeff Blakeman officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call Friday 2- 4 & 6– 8 pm.
