Launie West

Launie H. West, 74, of Laurelville, died January 4, 2011 in Newark. He was born August 10, 1936 in Wallback, WV, the son of Everett and Lucy (Beckett) West. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Donna (Hanshaw) West and daughter, Joyce West. He is survived by his children, Randie (Carolyn) West and Sharon Miller of Laurelville; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Wilson West of Brickhaven and Arnold West of TX and sisters, Dorothy Wilmoth of Laurelville, Ines Rogers of WV and Dolly Walker of Canton. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday January 8, 2011 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville. Burial will be in Green Summit Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday.
