Laura Cantwell

Irene Cantwell, 90, of W. Burlington, IA, died April 18, 2010 at Adena Regional Hospital. She was born March 18, 1920 in Lacona, IA, the daughter of Clyde and Laura (Edwards) Shupe. She was a retired school teacher. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Norval, Russell and Paul Shupe. She is survived by her daughter, Raylene (Sam) Shapiro of Circleville; grandsons, Steven Shapiro of Frankfort, IL and Matthew Shapiro of Circleville; great grandchildren, Breanna, Hope, Daniel, Elijah and Gabriel; sister, Betty L. Marshall of Burlington, IA and several nieces and nephews. Private family viewing will be held Friday April 23, 2010 at Fielding Funeral Home, Chariton, IA. Burial will follow in Chariton Cemetery.
