Lawrence Davis, 64, of South Bloomingsville died on Wednesday, April 2, 2014. He was born on March 22, 1950 in Hocking County to Jesse and Esther (Cordell) Davis. Lawrence was preceded in death by his father, Jesse, grandchild, Dreams Lynn Speakman, brother, Roy Davis and sister, Jessie Beckler. Lawrence is survived by his mother, Esther Davis, his wife, Marilyn (Good) Davis, children, Pamela Davis, Deborah Speakman, Lawrence (Elizabeth) Davis Jr., Jesse Davis, step children, Phillip (Robin) Good, Melissa (Craig) Christopher, 5 grandchildren, Amanda and Dustin Rossiter, Duane Speakman Jr, Ilia and Jayden Davis, 4 great grandchildren, Claire Kellough, Duane III and Brailynn Speakman and Natalie Osborn, step grandchildren, Savanah Good, Daniel Harding and Steven Christopher, brothers, Richard (Juanita) Davis, Frank (Patty) Davis, Chuck (Sandy) Davis, sisters, Sue (Carl) Elick, Darlene (Doc) Holtzmeier and Sharon Baker. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville with burial to follow in Otterbein Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home in Laurelville on Saturday from 5-8 p.m.
