Leona Williams

Leona R. Williams, 87, of Circleville, went to be with the Lord February 6, 2010. She was born Sept. 19, 1922 in Ashland, KY, the daughter of Thurston and Pauline (Nolte) Stewart. She was secretary at the Nicholas Dr. Church of God and Gregory Brothers Trucking and was a member of Nicholas Dr. Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ivan. Leona is survived by her husband of 61 years, Bill Williams, daughters, Glenna (Burt ) Keener of NC, Connie (Tim ) Hegarty and Beverly (David) Sours of Circleville and Vicky (Ken) Gregory of Ashville, 10 grandchildren, John (Teresa) Keener, Chad (Melissa) Keener, Shawn (Heather) Hegarty, Shane (Christina) Hegarty, Kristi (Craig) Malone, Heather (Jason) Bartholow, Chris (Jenny) Hegarty, Bryan (Meghan) Sours, Lindsay Gregory and Nicole Sours, 8 great-grandchildren, brothers, Clarence (Mary Lou) Stewart of TN and Charles (Clara Lee) Stewart of KY and sister-in-law Annabelle Stewart of KY. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010 at 10:30 am at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Rev. Chris Hegarty officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 & 6-8 pm.
