Leslie Cline

Leslie U. Cline, 75, of Circleville left us to be in HIS presence on October 25, 2016 with loved ones by his side following an extended illness. He was born on November 3, 1940 in Mohawk, West Virginia to the late Lawrence E. and Pauline M. (Perdew) Cline. Les had been successful throughout his life. Les retired from Cardinal Industries in 1983 after 25 years of service and retired in 2007 from the custom home building well known as Cline Builders, Inc. He and his wife, a perfect team, also owned and operated the Buckeye Quality Carwash in South Bloomfield, Cline’s Buckeye Home Center in Ashville as well as a rental business known as Para Dise LLC. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Lawrence R. Cline, three sisters, Odenia Sue Coffey Nagel of Georgia, and Linda Gaynelle Jones of Ohio, and Marlene D. Kirk Hunt of Columbus. He is survived by his wife; Ethel L. (Koon) Cline of 56 years, 5 children Leslie G. (Cindy) Cline of Ashville, Laura Dawn (Lance) Roese of South Bloomfield, Burgess “Bert” K. (Mona) Cline of Ashville, Joey R. (Lisa) Cline of Circleville and Pastor

Chad R. (Melissa) Cline of Orient, 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, brothers; Stephan Sherwood, Tim (Judy) Cline of Ashville, Bruce R. (Alice) Cline of Trafalgar Indiana, Mickey C. (Sue) Cline also of Ashville, sister; Pamela L. Wills of North Carolina, several nieces, nephews and cousins and by close friend Mack Blankenship of Ashville. Loved and respected by a multitude, his favorite past time was fishing, hunting with his grandchildren, dancing and having a good time. He will be sorely missed. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home Circleville with Pastors Chad Cline and Rob Pauhl officiating.
