Linda Goodman

Linda Goodman, 73, of Adelphi died on Friday, January 17, 2014. She was born on April 15, 1940 in Laurelville to Ray and Audaleen (Ross) Poling. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Hugh and sister, Mary Frances. She graduated from Laurelville High School, previously worked at DuPont, and retired from Zane Trace Schools. She was also a member of Adelphi United Methodist Church. Linda is survived by her children, Janelle Goodman, Shane Goodman, Jennifer Thurston, Sumer (Jason) Smith, grandchildren, Harlee Thurston, Justin Hutchinson, Cole Singer, Jaxon, Grady and Piper Smith and by best friend, Helen Smith. Linda’s cheerfulness, kindness, and generosity will be deeply missed by family and her many friends. By Linda’s request there are to be no viewing or service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested care of Kingston National Bank for scholarship for a Zane Trace student. Wellman Funeral Home is charge of the arrangements. Graveside services will be held at a later date.
