Linda (Thompson) Hettinger

Linda Hettinger, 78, of South Bloomingville passed away on December 18, 2022.  She was born on August 25, 1944 in Hocking County to Hubert and Vivian (Wiggins) Thompson.  She was a member of Mt. Carmel Church for over 70 years where she was very active.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by siblings Geraldine Routte, Louise Clark, Velma Behmer, Joyce Kline and Loring and Daton Thompson.  Linda is survived by her husband of 59 years Walter “Buck” Hettinger, daughter Cena (Chris) Hart and Troy (Ramalee) Hettinger, granddaughter Alexandrea and sisters Eunice Hart and Winifred “Freddie” Tatman.    A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Way, Memphis, TN, 38105.
