Lois Ellen (Guthrie) Clay

Lois Ellen Clay, 79, of Circleville passed away on August 27, 2024.  She was born on November 6, 1944 in Evansville, Indiana to George and Sarah (Leathers) Guthrie.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Carl Clay on June 22, 2023 and a sister Sandra Gaines.  Lois is survived by her children Candi (Jeff) Taylor, Sheri Smith (Rick), Shane Clay, Tammi (Don) Castle; grandchildren Matthew, Misty, Nick, Mallorie, Megan (Kyle), Rachel and Jake; great grandchildren Hannah, Sadie, Jaxson, Cooper and Adleigh; sister Stephenna Knaebel and by bonus grandchildren Michelle, Brayden and Kennedy.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating.  Visitation will be on Friday from 4-6 p.m.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
