Lucile Riggs

Lucile I. Grimm Riggs, 82, of Circleville, died March 2, 2013 at Circleville Care and Rehab. She was born November 29, 1930 in Columbus, the daughter of Floyd and Ines (Baughn) Grimm. She was a member of Crossroads Church and the prayer chain. She had a gentle, quiet spirit and was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Freelin Riggs, Jr.; step-sons, Larry and Steve Riggs; sister, Wanda Tabor and brother, Wilbur Grimm. She is survived by her daughters, Carleen Mernedakis of Columbus and Bonnie (John) Cella of NV; step-son, Joe Riggs of Columbus; grandchildren, Mandy Mernedakis and Sarah Cella; great grandchildren, Tye, Callie, Selena and Christabelle. Funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Friday March 8, 2013 at Crossroads Church, with Pastor Tim Throckmorton officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday and 10:30-11:30 a.m. Friday at the church. Arrangements were completed by the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.
