Mae Chaney

Mae Chaney, 81, of Ashville, went to be with her loving savior on Jan.13, 2011 in her home. She was born May 31, 1929 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Henry and Hester (Snyder) Reese. She was a member of the Ashville Church of Christ in Christian Union, played piano and taught Sunday school for many years and ran Chaney Upholstery with her husband. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. Mae was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Lowell and Dean Reese. Mae leaves behind her loving husband of 56 years, Earl, children; Mindy (Stan) Durham and Mike Chaney, grandchildren; Stephanie Durham and Cassie and Kristofer Chaney, great-granddaughter; Raelyn Bivens, sister; Zane Sampson, brother; Paul Reese, many nieces and nephews and her church family. Memorial services will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, Jan.18, 2011 at the Ashville Church of Christ in Christian Union with Pastor Don Blankenship officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wellman Funeral Home, Ashville.
