Mae Roberts

Mae Dowdy Roberts, 75, of Williamsport, died July 17, 2010 at Mt. Carmel West. She was born March 29, 1935 in Boyd Co., KY the daughter of Joseph and Myrtle Mae (Crabtree) Ross. Mae retired from Ohio Packing in 1995. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband Fred Dowdy, Jr. and granddaughter Belinda Smith Rutter. She is survived by her husband Bobby H. Roberts, children Jerri (Bobby) Thompson, Ronald (Rozi) Dowdy, Kathy (Bob) Smith, Terry (Jennifer) Dowdy and Perry (Nedda) Dowdy; step-daughter Lisa (Andy) Schroyer; grandchildren Leslie (Matt) Carver, Tim Dowdy, Brian Ashton, Derek (Jennifer), Krystal and Samantha Dowdy; 3 great grandchildren; brother Roy (Gladys) Ross and sister Liddy Baily. Funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m. Wednesday July 21, 2010 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Jackson Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Pickaway Co. Animal Shelter.
