Marcia Mahnk, 82, of Circleville (formally of Williamsport) passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Pickaway Manor Care Center. She was born March 6, 1932 in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of the late Mathew and Charlotte (Banach) Krystafik. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Gerald A. Mahnk, on September 11, 2001. Also, preceded in death by her brother, Ronald and her sister, Cornelia Greene. She is survived by her youngest daughter, Jacqueline (Randy) Eitel and her loving granddaughter, Emily Eitel of Circleville. Also, by her eldest daughter, Judy (William) Keller; three more grandchildren, Rebecca Keller, Katherine (Paul) Fisher, and David Keller; and two great-grandchildren, Amelia and Lindsey Fisher all of Williamsport; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Throughout her life, Marcia enjoyed a variety of activities; which included working for the Bell Aircraft Corporation until becoming a homemaker. While raising her family, she enjoyed sewing, knitting, and gardening. She was an avid bowler and served as the leader of a Campfire Girls’ Group for several years. She was someone who was always there to lend a helping hand. She also enjoyed being part of the many Eitel Family events over the years. Marcia’s favorite pastime was to take walks and talk with family, friends, and neighbors, as well as, reminiscing about her cherished memories. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. A private funeral will be held at a later date. Interment will be in the Springlawn Cemetery, Williamsport. Memorial contributions may be made to the Westfall Education Foundation-Field of Dreams Fund, 19463 Pherson Pike, Williamsport, OH 43164.
