Marcus Francis Albright, lovingly known as “Mark,” passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on November 11, 1930, in Ross County, Ohio, he was the son of Christopher William Albright and Roberta Miller-Albright. Mark graduated from Circleville High School in 1948 and enlisted in the United States Navy, proudly serving his country during the Korean War as Electrician’s Mate aboard the USS Orion and USS Midway. Following his military service, he attended Ohio University on the GI Bill, earning a degree in education. Mark dedicated his career to teaching Industrial Arts at Pickaway Township High School, Teays Valley High School, and Logan Elm High School, where he retired. Beyond the classroom, he coached varsity football and track and served as a drivers’ education instructor. His commitment to his community extended to volunteering as an EMT with Circleville EMS and as a member of the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Underwater Recovery Squad. He was also a founding partner of Circleville Twin Quarries, a freshwater dive site for scuba diving enthusiasts. Mark was an avid golfer who enjoyed many tee times with friends at Upper Lansdowne Golf Course in Ashville, Ohio. He was a member of the following organizations: the Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio (70+ years), Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (70+ years), Amvets (lifetime), the American Legion (lifetime), and Epsilon Pi Tau Industrial Arts Honorary Society. He was a devoted longtime member of Community United Methodist Church in

Circleville, Ohio who dedicated his life to raising his family in this church to be faithful Christians. In May of 2023, Mark and Carol moved from their home in Circleville, OH to Otterbein Senior Lifestyle Community in Lebanon, OH. Mark was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Beverly Albright Willoughby, and grandson, Quinton Levi Albright. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carol Krohn Albright; children Marcus A. Albright (Julie), Athena Albright Cook (Brandon), Matthew L. Albright (Pam), Timothy J. Albright (Cara), and Tammy Albright Smith (PJ); 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 15th at Community United Methodist Church in Circleville, Ohio. Visitation begins at 10 a.m., followed by the service at noon. In lieu of flowers, donations
