Margaret A. (Cox) Lemaster (79) of Amanda entered the presence of her Lord on Friday, May 10, 2024.
Born July 25, 1944, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida to the late Maggie (Holdren) Cox Ramsey and John Andrew Cox, Sr. As a small child, she moved to her beloved home in the mountains of West Virigina. Margaret was raised in Rocky Holler by a faithful mother where she grew to be a loving and outspoken protector of her younger siblings. A trait she carried all of her life.
Margaret moved to Stoutsville, Ohio where she soon began her own family. She dedicated her life to being a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her great joy in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Over the years, her door was open to many seeking shelter from life’s hardships.
On Heaven’s Shores to greet Margaret are those who made the journey ahead of her. Her “Mommy”, Maggie Ramsey, sisters, Donna Johnson and Rosella Howery and dear friend, Faye Peters.
Margaret leaves behind a large family to cherish her memory and continue her legacy. Her loving husband of 46 years, Dave Lemaster, daughter, Melissa (John) Hopper of Amanda, son, Kenneth “Joe” LeFever of Lancaster, daughter, Loretta LeFever of Circleville, bonus daughter, Ruth Ann Gose of Ashville and brother, John Cox of Princeton. WV. Grandchildren: K’Lee (Brad), Andy (Alicia), Brittany (Nick), Loren (Justin), Vince, Michael (A.J.), D.J. Liberty, and Haylee. Great-Grandchildren: Kiley, Colton, Wesley, BreAnn, Addie, Levi, Tori, Brantley, Jaxon, Rosilyn, Maddilyn, and Sophia, brother-in-law Bob Johnson along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Showing is Tuesday, May 14, 2024 from 11-1 with service at 1 with Pastor Jay Neff officiating with burial to follow in Heavenly Hills.
