Margery Ankrom

Margery Ellen Seymour Ankrom, 95, of Circleville, passed away on March 2, 2013 at Scioto Community where she resided approximately 2 years. She lived in Circleville all her life surrounded by family and friends. She was born January 11, 1918 in Ross County, the daughter of Fred and Alice (Peters) Seymour. She was a 1935 graduate of Circleville High School. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Ankrom; brother, Marvin and sisters, Dorinda Seymour, Ruth Hawk and Alice Joan Prushing. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Nancy (Shelby) Dye; grandchildren, Brad (Cheryl) Dye and Brian (Jo Ann) Dye; step-great grandchildren, Stephanie Reincheld, Kaylee Hardy, Stephanie Merckle and the late Frank Merckle; four great great step-grandchildren; sister, Betty Andrews and the families of numerous nieces & nephews, Terry Morrison, Rick (Julie) Prushing, Debbie (Terry) Leasure, Kathy (Roger) Davis, Sue (Mark) Mace, Sharelle (Gene) Hall, Ellen (John) Fuller, Fred Hawk, Sharon Foltz, Maxine Davis, Jack Ankrom and numerous great nieces and nephews. Margery enjoyed children and helped raise many family members. She attended Good Shepherd United Methodist Church since the age of 18 years old and was an active member. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday March 7, 2013 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Pastor Greg Swann officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery.
