Marilyn Barthelmas

Marilyn J. “Cookie” Barthelmas, 72, of Circleville, died at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born September 22, 1940 in Circleville, the daughter of William J. and Marguerite (Gardner) Barthelmas. She had worked as an RN with the VA Medical System for 48 years, the last 38 of those years at the Chillicothe VA. She was a member of Amvets Post 2256. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother William J. Barthelmas, Jr. She is survived by her brother, Steven J. (Denise) Barthelmas and their children, Steve (Brooke) Barthelmas, Jr., Holly Barthelmas and Scott Barthelmas; sister, Barbara (John) Moore and their children, John (Denisa) Moore, Jr., Jenny (Paco) Perez; sister, Sanda Barthelmas and her daughter Steva (Eric) Hoops; and several grand nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday June 13, 2013 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Springbank Cemetery. Family will receive friends after 9:00 a.m. Thursday.
