Mark A. Hunter, 58, of South Bloomingville, passed away at his home peacefully surrounded by family and friends on March 30, 2018.  He was born October 31, 1959 in Circleville the son of Frederick and Maxine (Hartley) Hunter.  He was a U.S. Marines and National Guard veteran.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Tim Hunter.  Mark is survived by his wife Joyce (Stevens) Hunter, sons Mark Anthony and Matthew Christopher Hunter, daughter Lacy Jae Matzenbach, 7 grandchildren and one on the way , sisters Janet (Dave) Riggs, Sandra (Rick) Smith, Sondra (Mike) Hoxie all of Laurelville, brother Thomas (Mary) Hunter of Florida and by family and friends including a very special mother-in-law Donna Stevens of South Bloomingvlle.  Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday April 4, 2018 at Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville with Pastor James Wine officiating.  Burial will follow in Chestnut Grove Cemetery.  Friends may call on Tuesday from 3-7 at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Wellman Funeral Home in Mark’s name.
