Martha (Marty) E. Eitel, born in Circleville, on August 21,1947, passed away on September 17, 2024. She was preceded in death by her daughter Courtney Leigh Eitel, and parents, Richard and Roma Conrad. Marty is survived by her devoted husband of fifty-five years Roger, and daughter Erin Reuter (Dan) and grandsons J.D. and Brady Reuter. She has two sisters Linda Reeser (Glenn) and their daughters Tara Reeser (Jonathan Bodamer) and Tracy Reeser (Matthew Witter) and Karen Huffman (Billy) and their sons Todd (Valorie) Huffman and Marcus Huffman and their children. She graduated from Circleville High School in 1965 and was the glue that kept the class together through the years at each reunion. Marty retired from the Ohio State University after twenty-five years and never lost her love of the Buckeyes. Her hobbies included traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Marty loved dancing, music and was always the life of any party. Her love for the pumpkin show and The Davis Demons is unmatched. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and will be sorely missed by anyone who knew her. The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice for the care they provided during Marty’s time of need. Visitation will be held at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 4pm-7pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Circleville. A burial will follow at Forest Cemetery in Circleville, Ohio.
