Marvin Jenkins

Marvin Lewis Jenkins, 94, of New Kent, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 in Virginia. Marvin was born on April 28, 1921 in Circleville to Lewis and Maude (Klingensmith) Jenkins. Mr. Jenkins retired from Ralston Purina in Circleville after 44 ½ of service and was a WWII Navy Veteran. He was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, Lions Club, American Legion and the VFW. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty (Badders) Jenkins and by sisters; Rosemary Jenkins and Dorothy Dick,. Marvin is survived by daughters; Jill (Skip) Lutz of New Kent, Virginia and Shelley (Bill) Gowdy of Cumming, Georgia, four grandchildren; Andrea Wilhoit and Ryan Lutz of Richmond, Virginia, Trevor and Shelby Gowdy of Cumming, Georgia, nieces Debbie Harvey, Diane Wilson, Janie Ebenhack and nephew Dan Dick. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. with burial to follow in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to Good Shepherd United Methodist Church.
