Marvin L. “Biggie” Robison, 84, of Circleville died January 22, 2013 at Riverside Hospital. “Biggie” or Marvin was born March 20, 1928 to Clarence H. and Minnie A. (Jones) Robison. He was a twin brother to Marlin “Red”. He was the last of 10 children. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Bill, Ike, Harry and Marlin “Red” and 5 sisters, Laverne, Elizabeth, Hazel, Francis and Charlotte. He is survived by 34 nieces and nephews, also many great and great great nieces and great great-great nephew. Marvin was a 1946 graduate of Circleville High School and enlisted into the U.S. Army during WWII. He served in the Phillipines and Japan. He returned to the states and worked at Container Corporation of America for over 50 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 134, Disabled American Veterans, Amvets Post 2256 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3331. He was a volunteer in many organizations and was a volunteer at Berger Hospital many years. Marvin was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a people person to all who knew him and loved by his family. A special thanks to the Logan Elm Health Care, Berger Hospital and Riverside Hospital ICU and hospice staff. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday January 28, 2013 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Father Ted Machnick officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens with military graveside honors. Friends may call from 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
