Mary (Hefner) Benjamin

Mary Josephine “Mary Jo” Benjamin, 73, of Creola, Ohio born in Parkersburg WV to Wilbert Nathaniel and Francis Louise (Held) Hefner.  She was a seamstress and loved to sing and loved her cat Shadow.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Dennis Benjamin and by sisters Cynthia and Martha Louise.  She is survived by her children Jim (Melanie), Sharon (Charlie) and Rachel (Jeff), grandchildren Corey, Maila, Trevor, Kaipo, Seairra, Isabella and Emma, great granddaughter Abygail  and siblings Bill, Judy, John, Melissa, Stanley, Linda, Deborah, David, Stephen and Susan.  Private family memorial services will be held.  Memorial contributions are suggested to a local animal shelter.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
