Mary Gordon

Mary A. “Marge” Gordon, 81, of Laurelville, died Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 10:00 p.m. She was born June 19, 1932 in Hocking County, the daughter of Earl and Lillie (Steele) Wynkoop. She was a member of South Perry United Methodist Church and formerly worked at General Electric and Littles’ Jewelry Store. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Gordon and brother, Alva Wynkoop. She is survived by her brother, Harold Wynkoop of Circleville; nieces and nephews, Katrina Leasure, Wendy weaver, Todd Wynkoop, Harold Wynkoop, Jr. and Jody Brestel and special friends, Bob and Louise Butts and family. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2014 at Olive Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to South Perry U.M.C., 19680 St. Rt. 180, Laurelville, OH 43154. Arrangements were completed by the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville.
