Mary Greenwood

Mary Alice Greenwood, 88, of Williamsport, died October 9, 2011 at Brown Memorial Nursing Home. She was born September 17, 1923 in Williamsport, the daughter of Charles and Alice (Steeley) Schleich. She was a life member of Williamsport United Methodist Church, past Matron of Eastern Star Heber Lodge #62, member of DAR, Grange and Delta Kappa Gamma. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Helen Long. She is survived by her sons, Don (Elizabeth) Greenwood of Washington C.H. and Ron (Terry) Greenwood of Orient; grandchildren, Lea (Jared) Millet, Lisa Hill, Tina (Jared) Stucki, Renee (Jon) Glover and Kyle (MaJoana) Greenwood; 7 great grandchildren; step grandchildren, Genevieve (Zach) Uhrig, Jeffrey (Brittany) Rogers, Jr. and Liberty (Ryan) Hiles; 3 step great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday October 13, 2011 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Springlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association.
