Mary Hugus

Mary Della Jones Hugus, 83, of Lancaster passed away on March 25, 2016. She was born on November 14, 1932 in Marietta to Wilbur and Mildred (Folger) Jones. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mary was a graduate of Marietta College, was a member of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the American Revolution, Brookside Garden Club, All Saints Lutheran Church Choir and Chi Omega Sorority. Mrs. Hugus is survived by her husband; Maurice “Welty” Hugus, sons; Philip L. Hugus of Arizona, Daniel Hugus of Circleville, daughter; Amy Woeste of Illinois, grandchildren; Tyler, Katherine, Joseph, Reed, Erin, Michael and Tessa and by one brother; Wilbur Jones of Marietta. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Philips Episcopal Church with Kathryn Clausen officiating. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. Private burial will be in Harrison Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to FairHope Hospice or St. Philips Episcopal Church. Wellman Funeral Home is serving the family.
