Mary E. Radcliffe, 88, of Circleville, died March 1, 2007 at Pickaway Manor. She was born June 15, 1918 in Pickaway County, the daughter of Roy E. and Flossie (Lathouse) Groce. She was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, order of the Eastern Star where she served as past Worthy Matron, District Deputy and District President; Pythian Sisters, served on the Wesley Glen Board for 25 years, initiated Wesley Glen Ladies Auxilary and served on numerous boards in the West Ohio Conference in the United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Radcliffe; brother, James L. Groce and sister-in-law, Stella Groce. She is survived by nieces, Suzanne Frank of TN and Diana Belford of Roselle, IL; great nephew, David Frank; great nieces, Lisa Frank, Angi Budnick, Kristen Splitt and Valerie Lindquist; 10 great great nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Elaine Bowman of Circleville and special friends, Dorcas (Wayne) Morrow of Circleville; Dale Hoover and Gerald and Esther Smith. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday March 5, 2007 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Pastor Roland Perkins officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd U.M.C. or Heartland Hospice.
