Mary Valentine

Mary M. (Greeno) Valentine, 88, of Lancaster, died September 14, 2010 at Pickering House. She was born July 29, 1922 in Stoutsville, the daughter of Archibald and Elizabeth (Arledge) Greeno. She was owner of Mary’s Saloon in Circleville and Peyton’s Place on S. High St., Columbus. She was preceded in death by parents; her former husband, Fred Valentine; son, Frederick “Ted” Valentine and brothers and sisters, Russell, Irene, Florence, Gladys, Rance, Clarence and Gene. She is survived by her children, Wayne E. and Donna Valentine of Lancaster, Marvin “Tom” and Helen Valentine of Circleville, Alberta Casto of Lancaster; step daughter, Diane and Ron Bush of Lancaster; grandchildren, Lisa, Connie, Douglas, Gary, Mary Anne, Cathy, David, Laura, Janet, Jimmy, Michael, Wayne, Jr., Angie, Becky, Raymond, Frankie, Mark, Tyson and Todd; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister, Hazel Burns and brother, Fred Greeno. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday September 17, 2010 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
