Mary Williams

Mary Lou “Lucy” Williams, 76, of Ashville, died January 6, 2015 at Genesis Nursing Home. She was born February 21, 1938 in Ashland, KY, the daughter of Andrew and Goldie (Oney) Fairchild. She was retired from Anderson Insurance. She was an avid sports fan, particularly of the Buckeyes, UK basketball and Reds. She never missed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events and school functions and was known to everyone as “Grandma Lucy”. She enjoyed traveling and her beach vacations. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Earnest Ray Williams. She is survived by her children, Steve (Christine) Williams of Circleville, Alan (Evelyn Dinsmoor) Williams of Ashville and Cindy Williams of Ashville; grandchildren, Amanda Williams, Kimberly (Jonathan Wallace) Williams, Tara and A.J. Williams; siblings, Phil (Carol) of South Point, Millard (Tulsa) of Wheelersburg, Calvin (Linda), Delmer (Theresa) Fairchild, Reva (Emanuel) Mullins and Lorene (Eugene) Unrue all of Ashland, KY. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday January 9, 2015 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Kym Timberlake James officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery.
