Max L. Young, 68, of Laurelville, died Feb. 10, 2012 in Columbus. He was born Feb. 28, 1943 in Hocking County, the son of M. L. and Madge (Mortle) Young. He was owner of Max’s Auto Body. Max was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Linda (Canan) Young, son, Jim (Shelley) Young, daughters, Tami (Ray) Moats, Ami (Jim) Carmon and Sommer (Dan) Barham, grandchildren, Cassie, Lindsay, Andy, Jordan, Hanna, Lauren, Daniel and Jonathan, and brothers, Roger (Pat), Mick (Linda) and John (Rhonda) Young. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville with Pastor John Williams officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 2 – 9 pm. Family requests memorial contributions to Laurelville Volunteer Fire Dept.
