Melissa Fletcher

Melissa A. Fletcher, 36, of Circleville passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at her home after a courageous 6 year battle with cancer. Everyone who knew and loved Melissa knew how strong she was and how valiant her fight was against cancer. She was an inspiration not only to her family but to her countless friends and the community. She was born on January 24, 1978 in Columbus. She was a 1996 Logan Elm High School Graduate and received her bachelors from Ohio University. Melissa worked for the City of Circleville as Payroll Clerk. She was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist and loved spending time with family and friends, was an avid reader and enjoyed watching movies. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Leroy and Ann Hedges. Melissa is survived by her parents; Roy Nungester and Janet (Hedges) Nungester, her husband; Jason A. Fletcher, her children; Alexis “Lexi” N. Mann and Izabella G. Fletcher, brother; Brian (Misty) Nungester, sister; Tonya (Jason) Rohrer and by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Pastor Ty Myers officiating. Burial will be in Hitler Ludwig Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The family wishes to thank all the people who have helped Melissa along the way.
