Michael Smallwood

Michael (Mike) James Smallwood, 66, of Stoutsville passed away on March 5, 2018 at his home.  He was born on July 18, 1951 to Francis and Margaret (Hart) Smallwood.  Mike worked and retired from the City of Circleville.  He loved hunting, fishing, going to fishing tournaments and bowling.  When Mike was younger he spent every weekend at Circle D skating.  He was well known for his sense of humor and love for his family.  Mike was preceded in death by his father Francis “Jerry” Smallwood, step father Clyde Radabaugh, brother Tom Smallwood, step sisters Jeannie Radabaugh, Annie Birtchfield, Loretta Chaffin, nieces Christina Barker and Lynn Stewart, nephew Ronnie Bensonhaver, grandparents Millard, Ora and Ethel Hart and by several aunts and uncles.  In addition to his mother Margaret Radabaugh he is survived by his fiancé Sheri Downs, step daughter April (Justin Crawford) Robinett, brothers Jerry (Barb) Smallwood, Chuck (Bonnie) Smallwood, sisters Patty (Gary) Romine, Nancy (TR) Haughey, step brothers Clyde (Carolyn) Radabaugh, Jay (Tina) Radabaugh, step sisters Linda Hawkins, Connie Radabaugh and Carlene Radabaugh, nephews, Trent Stewart, Joe Herron, Jerry (Missy) Smallwood, Adam (Heather) Smallwood, Tim (Sarah) Evans, Chris (Melody) Evans, nieces Angie (B.J.) Gambler, Christina (Greg) Shaw, Melissa (Jay Hessler) Wanda (Wendell) Taylor, Michelle (Dean) Cross, Margaret (Vince) Piatz and by several great nieces, nephews and uncles.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Chaplain Jim Ferrell officiating.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 3.  Memorial contributions are suggested to Pickaway County Literacy Council, 200 East High Street, Circleville, Ohio 43113 or American Heart Association, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK, 73123.  Online condolences can be made to www.wellmanfuneralhomes.com.
