Mildred Marie (Nungester) Conrad, 88 of Greenfield, formerly of Darbyville, passed away on August 9, 2015. She was born on October 3, 1926 in Pickaway County the daughter of Clarence and Martha (Hardesty) Nungester. She was married to Harold P. Conrad for 44 years before he went to be with the Lord on May 2, 1986. She had worked at Uhls grocery in the late 50’s and United Department Store both of Greenfield and the Royal Paper Company of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, daughter, Joyce (Conrad) Hair; granddaughter, Angie (Hair) Steele; great granddaughter, Kimberly Lynn Wheaton; 2 grandsons, Johnny and Tony Conrad; 4 great grandchildren, George Conaway III, Mathew, Mark and Michael Jr. Patterson; 7 brothers, Edgar, James, Paul, Clarence Jr., Lester, Leslie and William Nungester; 6 sisters, Frances Clements, Dorothy King, Betty Lovenshimer, Rosemary Lowery, Ruth Speakman and Corabelle Nungester. She is survived by her daughter Phyllis (George) Conaway of WCH; son, Harold, Jr. (Cindy) Conrad of Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Mary Wheaton of Greenfield, where she made her home for the last 4 years. Son-in-law, Gary Hair of Kenton, sister-in-law Mildred Flores of Ashville; sister, Juanita (Willy) Moore of Lockbourne; 20 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, 17 great great grandchildren, close friend, Phyllis Hulse of Darbyville, close nieces and nephews, Penny and Bill Hixenbaugh, Patty and June Bug Blankenship, several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday August 13, 2015 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Muhlenberg Twp. Cemetery.
