Mildred Schein

Mildred E. Schein, 87, passed on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Mt. Carmel West. She was a longtime resident of Williamsport. Mildred “Millie” was born August 2, 1924 in Chillicothe to Clarence and Violet (Hockenberry) Deffenbaugh. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold E. Schein; brothers, Robert and Ralph Deffenbaugh. Millie is survived by her daughter, Melissa L. (Roger H.) Barnhart of Circleville; son, Craig T. Schein of Atlanta, GA; grandson, Travis W. (Allison E.) Barnhart and great granddaughter, Laila Claire of Williamsport. Millie was a longtime employee and retiree of the Kroger Company. Funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Wednesday May 2, 2012 at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. Burial will be in Springlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers donations to favorite charities are welcomed.
