Myrtle Yates, 91, of Washington C.H. passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2012. She was born on September 27, 1920 in Thayer, Indiana to James and Classses (Best) Floyd.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Yates in 1974, one daughter, Bessie Yates in 1948, three grandchildren and by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Mrs. Yates is survived by two sons, Charles Yates of Washington C.H., Leroy (Susan) Yates of Greenfield, one daughter, Cathy (Ted) Quesinberry of Florida, 6 grandchildren and by several great grandchildren.
Funeral service for Mrs. Yates will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Wellman-Kinzer Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.
