Nellie Anna Cook Conkel, 78, of Circleville passed away on August 17, 2024. She was born on October 21, 1945 in Circleville to Willard and Mary (Thomas) Cook. She retired from P.D.I. with 20 plus years. Nellie was a life member of Amvets #2256, life member of VFW #3331 and a member of Eastern Star Chapter 90. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by siblings Geraldine Stevens, Melanie Lanman and Brian Jack Cook. Nellis is survived by her children Bobby (Dora), Brian (Darla) and Bradney (Shelly) Conkel; grandchildren Megan (Jose) Travis, Brandon (Brittany), Kyle (Kaitlyn), Hannah (Kenny Maynard and Chelsie Conkel, Amanda and Allen Martin; grandchildren Gracie, Olivia, Kendall, Auri, Angelo, Chris, Landon, Calvin, Cameron, Bryson, Bowen, Baylor, Elaina, Aria, Coleson and Isannah and by sister Georgia Furness. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with burial to follow in Harrison Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m.
