Nora Osborn, 86, of Washington Court House passed away on Tuesday, September 08, 2009. She was born in Holden, West Virginia on August 19, 1923 to Albert and Ida (Plumley) Walker. Mrs. Osborn was a lifetime member of VFW 4964 Ladies Auxiliary and was a volunteer seamstress for Dayton and Chillicothe VA facilities.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Osborn in 1996, one sister, Ruby and by grandsons, Timothy and Mathew May.
Mrs. Osborn is survived by her children, Helena (Harold) May of Granville, Edgar (Sharon) Osborn of Franklin, Tennessee, James (Patricia Sowers) Osborn of Circleville and Alta (Edgar Nungester) Osborn of New Holland, by three brothers, Edward and Wandell (Ben) Walker both of California and Junior Walker of Kentucky and by eight grand and eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Osborn will be held on Friday, September 11, 2009
at 1:00 p.m. in the Wellman-Kinzer Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highlawn
Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
