Opal Stevenson

Opal M. Stevenson, 77, of Circleville, died March 2, 2013 at OSU. She was born on May 7, 1935 in Kentucky, the daughter of Doc and Goldie (Murphy) Blankenship. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harl Stevenson and siblings, Helen Justice, Mary Steger and Walter Ray Blankenship. She is survived by her children, Brenda (Tony) Wagner of Circleville, Harl R. Stevenson of Ashville and Theresa (John) Lowe of Circleville; grandchildren, Michael Wagner, Mandy (Gabe) Carpenter, Phillip, Jessica and Sarah Lowe; great grandchildren, Taylor and Tori Wagner and Brookelynn and Mason Carpenter; sisters, Deany Lester, Shirley Dean and Gloria Reynolds and brothers, James and Rodney Blankenship. Graveside service will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday March 8, 2013 at Harrison Twp. Cemetery, with Pastor Ty Myers officiating. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home in Opal’s name.
