Ottie Clinton Brown, 84, of Kingston, Ohio passed peacefully at home October 19, 2014 surrounded by his loving wife of 62 years, Joann Underwood Brown and loved ones. Clinton Brown was born in Kincaid, WV November 24, 1929. He worked on the family farm until he married his childhood sweetheart Joann M. Underwood on December 10, 1951. He served in the Korean War from August 14, 1951 until November 26, 1954. Clinton moved his family to Detroit, Michigan in 1954 to work for Owens Illinois. He moved to Circleville, Ohio in 1968 and worked for Owens Illinois for 27 years. After retiring he worked at the Pickaway County Family YMCA in Circleville for 10 years. Clinton is survived by his wife Joann. They married on December 10, 1951 in Charleston, WV. They have four children, David (Kathy) Brown of Williamsport, Ohio; Michael (Gayle) Brown of Bloomingburg, Ohio, Kenneth (Jessie) Brown of Lancaster, Ohio and Kathy (Rusty) Burris of Circleville, Ohio, three surviving brothers, James Brown of Detroit, Michigan, Glenn Brown of Robson, WV, Howard Brown of Beckley, WV and one sister Ola Brown of Beckley, WV. Clinton has ten grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. Clinton is preceded in death by his parents, John Woody and Ethel Lovell Brown, brothers, Carl Brown, Eddie Brown and sister Annie Brown. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Hitler Ludwig Cemetery.
