Patricia Moore

With much sadness, the family of Patricia Moore of Circleville announces her passing on December 31, 2024. Patty was born March 24, 1944 in Tiffin, Ohio, the daughter of the late Nick and Theresa (Bagnoli) Mazzaferro. She married G. Thomas Moore (deceased 2022) at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tiffin on June 17, 1967. She is survived by two children: Ryan (Jill) Moore, Bristow, Virginia; and Maresa Campbell, Upper Arlington, Ohio. Three grandchildren added much joy to her life: Liam Campbell, Grayson Campbell and Macy Moore. In addition, she is survived by a sister Phyllis Allebach, of Tiffin, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, an infant son and adult son Michael. Patty was a 1962 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and a 1965 graduate of Kent State University with a B.S. in education (business and library science). While at Kent State, she was inducted into two national honoraria’s:

Pi Omega Pi (business education) and Phi Gamma Nu (business honorary). In 1987, she moved to Circleville with Tom to open Circle Printing which they sold in 2009. During that time, she was also employed as the librarian/media specialist and business department chair at Bishop Ready High School, Columbus, Ohio. She had previously served as administrative assistant liaison for the Sandusky Area Health Education Center affiliated with Medical College of Ohio. Prior to becoming a mother, she had taught in Akron, Sandusky, and Bellevue, Ohio. Patty enjoyed traveling, reading, sewing and volunteering with non-profit organizations. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Joe’s on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside burial will be next to her husband and sons in the Catholic Cemetery in Bellevue, Ohio on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m..
