Patsy Artrip

Patsy Lee Artrip, 61, of Stoutsville, died August 15, 2013 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. She was born May 7, 1952 in Charleston, WV, the daughter of the late Julian and Grace (Manuel) Welch. She was the owner of Whittlers Corner, attended Meigs County High School and Fairview United Methodist Church, authored a book about Circleville Pumpkin Show and was a song writer. She is survived by her husband, Danny Artrip; children, Gary (Shelly) Artrip and Sharon Artrip Wears; grandchildren, Danielle and Ashley Wears and Kaylin and Ally Artrip and sisters, Sharon Wise, Donna Jacks, Janet Kitchen, Tammy Lynch and June Buckler; brothers, Dave, Gary and Jerry Welch. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday August 20, 2013 at the Fairview United Methodist Church with Pastor Keith Deel officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.
