Patsy Ekvall

Patsy L. Ekvall went to her eternal home on March 10, 2013, following a decline in health from a stroke. Patsy was the daughter of Thomas T. and Leista (Cox) Holland and sister of Eugene Howard Holland, all of whom preceded her in death. She was born on July 12, 1934 in Erwin, TN. On November 7, 1952, she married David G. Morgan, Jr. of Erwin. David died May 14, 1971 while serving as an officer in the U.S. Navy. David was the father of their two children Vicki Morgan of Chillicothe and Thomas Morgan of Columbus. She is also survived by Bradley K. Wees, whom she loved as a son. On November 4, 1996, she married Philip Ekvall who preceded her in death on December 20, 2004. For many years she enjoyed a close relationship with her Sister in Christ, Sue Salyers, as well as her Bible Study Group that met in her home each week. In 1969 Patsy became an LPN. She served in several areas of nursing until her retirement in 2004. A private Celebration of Life will be held at Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Rev. Mitch Salyers officiating.
