Dear Paul, I have watched you suffer, but now you are at peace. Born in Circleville Aug. 8, 1935 to Clarence and Marie (Lane) Allison, you ended your long battle with Alzheimer’s March 20, 2010 at Columbus Alzheimer’s Care Center. They gave you the best care possible. You have left many to mourn, including our 9 kids; Paula Keaton, Susie (Rick) Metcalf, Brad (Crissi) Allison, Melissa (Bill) Tootle, Brian Allison, Shauna (Wade) Cupp, Kevin (Angie) Dixon, Mick (Misty) Allison and Bill Allison, our 15 grandkids, 4 step-grandkids and 2 great granddaughters. Your surviving sisters; Ruth Goldsberry, Carolyn (Joe) Sheets, Judy (Rodger) Binkley and your brother Gerald Allison miss you. You also leave many nieces and nephews. I know you will be greeted by your first wife, Katty (Fowler) Allison, your mommy and daddy, brothers, Dick and Charlie and sister Doris Pearce. After over 35 years of marriage, I have the memories to help me through this time. I think how hard you worked supporting our family retiring in 1997 from Georgia Pacific. Its springtime now, a time you always enjoyed mushroom hunting. Fall always brought you the enjoyment of deer hunting until your declining health. We may shed tears from your passing, but will meet you again someday. Our family, loved ones and many friends will gather to mourn at Wellman Funeral Home in Circleville, Tuesday, March 23, 2010 from 2-8 pm. Funeral services for our goodbye will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March, 24, 2010 with your cousin, Rev. Howard Allison officiating. You’ll lay to rest beside Katty at Hitler-Ludwig Cemetery, where I will join you later. Your loving wife, Janet Lemaster Allison.
