Paul Conkel

Paul E. Conkel Jr., 67, of Laurelville passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2015. He was born on September 14, 1948 in Circleville to Paul and Helen (Derexson) Conkel Sr. He was self-employed and the owner of Conkel Remodeling and Home Improvements. He was dedicated to his work. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his step father; Richard Donegan and by sister; Patricia Cole. Paul is survived by his mother; Helen Donegan, his wife of 22 years; Teresa (Webb) Conkel, children; Kathy Hamill, Carmella McKee, Stacey Ferrin, Paula Conkel, Thomas (Christina) Vogt, Candie (B.J.) Siders, step-son; Tony (Erica) Fowler, numerous grandchildren and nieces and nephews and by sister; Barbara (Mark) Hammond and a brother-in-law; Monte Cole. Paul will be missed by his beloved cat; Homer. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville with Dr. Doyne Wiggins officiating.
