Paul Jackson

Paul D. Jackson, 87, of Columbus, died August 21, 2011 at Heartland Victorian Village. He was born March 8, 1924 in Circleville, the son of John and Roberta (Dalton) Jackson. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, lifelong member of St. Paul A.M.E. Church, received his Bachelor Degree from Capital University and his Masters from Ohio State University in clinical pathology. He was preceded in death by his father, John Jackson; mother, Roberta Valentine and brothers, Calvin and John H. He is survived by his wife, Connie (Lynch) Jackson; children, Paula D. Jackson of Philadelphia, PA, Julie A., Suzanne E. and Robert D. Jackson of Columbus; 4 grandchildren, Jackson Coles, Julian and Brittany Combs and Denise C. Jackson; special cousin, Rev. Michael D. Johnson and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday August 27, 2011 at the St. Paul A.M.E. Church,422 South Pickaway St., Circleville, OH. Burial will be held in Forest Cemetery with military graveside honors. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Arrangements were completed by the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville.
